ILiADS Advisory Board
The Advisory Board consists of folks with a vested interest in the success of ILiADS and should consist of people who have a diversity of experiences relating to the Institute. We encourage student participants, faculty members, liaisons, and even those who haven’t attended but are committed to making ILiADS a fruitful experience for all involved. The Advisory Board will act as a sounding board for the Steering Committee, and members should plan to attend (virtually) one meeting of the Steering Committee each semester.
The Advisory Board will consist of 9 board members:
- 8 at-large members
- Member terms are 3 years, with 2-year terms for 4 members the original Advisory Board created in 2019.
- 1 past Steering Chair (which rotates each year)
Nominations and Voting for the Advisory Board
- Nominations are welcome from the full ILiADS community (including self-nominations), with an expectation that anyone rotating off of the board will submit a name.
- Ranked choice voting by the full board (SC and AB) will be used to select and confirm membership.
The Steering Committee, in consultation with the Advisory Board, will revisit this structure and process after 3 years to ensure that it continues to fulfill the needs of the Steering Committee and community at large.
